Mount Calvary Christian School, located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is currently seeking qualified applicants for the role of Superintendent / Head of School.
Founded in 1976, Mount Calvary Christian School, located in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, exists for the purpose of assisting parents in educating their children to be faithful and mature followers of Christ. The heartbeat of Mount Calvary Christian school is, “Pursuing Christ, Preparing Students.” MCCS is a growing and thriving ASCI-accredited school, currently serving around 500 students in grades K3 through 12, with students from five counties in Central Pennsylvania representing 18+ school districts and 80+ churches. We also have an active cyber/remote learning program and an international student program.
For the past nine years, Dr. Daniel Sheard has faithfully served as Superintendent, during which time we have seen God’s blessing on both Mount Calvary Christian School and Mount Calvary Church. Both the school and church have experienced healthy and steady growth while benefiting from a thriving church and school relationship and facilitating the collective academic development of our students and broader communities. As we step out in faith into the next chapter for MCCS, the board of Trustees anticipates continued growth and is prayerfully seeking a mature follower of Christ with a heart for students to serve as the next leader in spiritual life, academics, and administration with a vision to further the mission of pursuing Christ and preparing students.
