Kaden was recognized as the Student of the Month for October! Check out his interview below. Congratulations, Kaden! We enjoyed sitting down and hearing a little bit about your journey at MCCS!

What are your plans after graduation?

“After graduation, I plan to attend Cedarville University and major in biblical and theological studies.”

What sports, clubs, or activities have you been involved in? Any awards or special recognitions?

“I’m currently a member of student council, the varsity boys soccer team, the vice-president of the National Honor Society, and a class chaplain.”

What classes have helped you in your career objective?

“The classes at Mount Calvary that have been most impactful for me have been my Bible classes, as they’ve taught me God’s Word and given me time to study His Word as well.”

How have the teachers at MCCS made an impact on your life?

“One of the most helpful things that I’ve gained from the teachers at Mount Calvary is wisdom and insight as they have given me lots of useful wisdom and insight for my future.”

What has God been teaching you lately?

“If I were to sum up some of the things God has taught me throughout my years at Mount Calvary, it would be to be faithful to Him. There can be lots of different distractions and circumstances that can cause me to want to not follow God, but He’s taught me to be faithful to Him throughout all different circumstances.”

Do you have any advice for younger students?

“My advice for younger students is to take advantage of every minute you have here and have as much fun as you can while keeping God first in all that you do.”

What is one of your favorite high school memories?

“Some of my favorite memories from my time at Mount Calvary definitely have to be my times going to and playing sports games, as well as the worship nights we’ve been able to host.”
