December Student of the Month- Joshua Good

Each month, we recognize a senior who is nominated by MCCS faculty and staff based on spiritual leadership, character, academic achievement or improvement, perseverance through trials, and other aspects of a student’s life and academic career.

Joshua Good was recognized as the Student of the Month for December! Read his interview below. Congratulations, Joshua!

What are your plans after graduation?

“After graduating from MCCS, I plan to attend Grove City College for a degree in mechanical engineering.”

What sports, clubs, or activities have you been involved in? Any awards or special recognitions?

“During my time at Mount Calvary, I’ve participated in “I am a member of NHS and student council and was the captain of the varsity guys soccer team.”

How have the teachers at MCCS made an impact on your life?

“My teachers have helped me grow academically by all having different teaching styles which has helped me to develop different learning styles, and I can learn better.”

What has God been teaching you lately?

“God has been teaching me to use my time wisely, because the time you have is very little, and you should enjoy it.”

Do you have any advice for younger students?

My advice to younger students would be to go outside your comfort zone and to try new things.”

Any closing thoughts?

“I’m grateful that I was able to spend my later half of my education years at MCCS, and I would like to thank my family for sending me here.”
