I interpreted Jesus, Light of the World as a hand in darkness receiving a glowing cross from Jesus. The dark background shows the struggles with problems and fear, and the bright light from the cross shows how Jesus brings hope and guidance. I wanted to show that even in darkness, Jesus is the Light that leads us. This artwork expresses the idea that His light is always there and reaches out to us to receive it.
