I interpreted Jesus, Light of the World as Jesus being incomprehensibly good. In 1 Corinthians 13:12 it says, “For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face; now I know in part; but then I shall know even as I am known.” Humankind only sees God’s good will and His perfect attributes in partiality. One day, the window will be opened, and people will see the full light of God’s goodness.
