Annually, the Fine Arts Department sponsors a major play or a musical usually on alternating years. The play is open to high school students only while the musical is open to middle school and possibly some elementary students as well.
The 2009-2010 production is Into the Woods Jr., a James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim fractured fairy tale. Into the Woods, Jr. is a modified version of the original production. The show is a spoof of favorite fairy tales. In this production we meet up with Cinderella, Rapunzel, Prince Charming, Cinderella's stepmother, stepsisters, Little Red Riding Hood, the wolf, Jack (and his beanstalk), and the witch. We will see how they interact on their journeys into the woods to find their "happily ever after".

Into the Woods, Jr. will be directed by Amy Allen. Performances are April 15-17 at 7:00. Tickets go on sale March 19.
