Molding Children for Christ's Service
For over thirty years Nancy E. Morris was a cornerstone at MCCS. As a second grade teacher and elementary principal, she taught and nurtured hundreds of students with love, kindness and a keen sense of right and wrong. Always praising the Lord, she helped bring out the best in her “little people.” In April 2009, the Lord called Mrs. Morris into His presence.
Mrs. Morris’ impact on the lives of MCCS students and their families is like ripples on a pond, radiating out from these hallways. She not only inspired elementary students to do their best, but she also inspired parents to do their best to shepherd their children in God’s ways. Her influence and inspiration will live on in the Nancy E. Morris Memorial Scholarship Fund established in her honor and memory. This scholarship will be awarded at each MCCS commencement service to a graduate intending to enter the field of Elementary Education. Gifts to this fund can be made through our church or school.
